Werther – Opera

Jules Massenet’s opera “Werther” is not only (beautifully) tragic but also features a sweeping, haunting score as you would find it in classic Hollywood movies. We turned the sober white stage into a magical forest (with 4k projections) that is washed away with growing waterfalls, slowly deconstructing it to a lifeless scene as film noir, a dark nightmare. The perfect choice for this Halloween weekend in October 2021.
