Digital backgrounds on a led wall introduce another dimension of poetry and emotion to live theatre. I want the audience to experience the emotional journeys of the characters through painted light: Here Mozart’s genius is visualized as pure, luminous energy, yet charged with inner chaos, set in contrast to cold, emotionless human fragments carved in stone for his male antagonists.
Light sculptures embody the spirit of music itself: rising, gaining power, and ultimately descending, stripped of life and colour.
